The world in which we live is full of resources that should supply the preservation of human life in every way. However, due to the ambition of certain political and economic powers there are marked separations and divisions of these resources, as well as the territories in which we inhabited. Because of this, many countries quickly prospered thanks to the industrial revolution and technological advances, while other countries stagnated in poverty. These actions defined the current socio-economic conditions of the world. Today, there is a considerable difference between rich and poor countries. That is, developed countries do a very good job in providing the basic necessities for their populations such as food, education, healthcareâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦The reasons why many countries cannot provide the basic needs to the populations are complex; namely, one of the many causes is the result of political, economic, structural and social decisions taken without considerin g the impact that these can cause. Also, these bad decisions are reinforced by the absence of a good government and the measures taken by the rulers according to the exploitation of local resources. Based on statistics by the World Bank researches there is a 12.7% of the world population living at $1.90 a day on 2011. This is a global data of poverty; however, the bigger numbers are in areas such as Africa with a 42.7% and some conflict affected countries with a 39.9%. Countries with a lot of poverty should not be isolated from global decisions. Therefore, countries with more economic resources should distribute these resources to the developing nations in order to provide poor countries more equal access to wealth and basic services. The argument provided in this document is related to the cosmopolitan theory which is the theory that builds on the assertion that all human beings, aside from their place of origin, are part of the global community. Consequently, the main purpose of this theory is to ensure the wellbeing of individuals rather than societies. For this reason, there should be a moral obligation to help people who do not have enough possessions to live a worthy life. In this case, the help should not be based on
